Synopsis
Io & Ayrton is a documentary and monologue-event that transforms the story of Ayrton Senna into a deeply human journey about defeat, rebirth and the power of inspiration. Moving along two parallel tracks, the work follows Senna's legendary career from his Formula 1 debut in 1984 to the tragic Imola Grand Prix in 1994, while intertwining it with the story of a young Italian narrator who finds in the Brazilian champion the strength to face his own struggles.
