Inside Man Films, in partnership with Toyota Italia, is proud to announce the production of an unprecedented television event: "Toyota Gazoo Racing – The Challenge", a project that brought an entire city to a standstill and transformed its historic center into a spectacular stage for world-class automotive performance.
The special, set to air on Sky, will feature the Toyota GR Yaris Rally2 in an extraordinary showcase blending the raw power of modern automotive technology with the historic charm of one of Italy's most breathtaking locations.
Behind the wheel: Italian and European Rally Champion Giandomenico Basso, alongside Mara Sangiorgio and Matteo Bobbi.
Inspired by Ken Block's legendary Gymkhana series, this groundbreaking event brings to Italy for the first time a unique combination of driving precision and pure spectacle. The GR Yaris Rally2 will perform jaw-dropping maneuvers between historic buildings and the port's industrial areas, creating a striking contrast between heritage and innovation.
Trieste's Porto Vecchio, currently undergoing redevelopment, becomes the perfect backdrop for this one-of-a-kind production. The course winds through a series of distinctive areas, each offering its own dramatic and visually stunning setting.
Filmed using cutting-edge technology, every moment of the action was captured from breathtaking angles. Presenting duties go to Mara Sangiorgio and Matteo Bobbi, who will guide viewers through this truly unique event.
